To keep things fair, fun, and competitive across all skill levels, we use a thoughtful handicapping system and skill-based divisions that recognize performance.
And when you consistently shine, we celebrate that, too.
đ Each time you achieve a qualifying Master or Expert level performance, you earn a Promotion Degree â a milestone that builds over time and reflects your continued excellence.
Whether itâs your very first promotion or your 27th time crushing it as an Expert, you can now generate a personalized certificate that proudly displays your Promotion Degree â like "20th Degree Master" or "8th Degree Expert." Thatâs some serious disc cred.
𧎠How Handicap Points Work
To help level the playing field, bonus points are awarded weekly to teams based on their handlerâs experience:

| Junior Handler (13 & under) | +10 points |
| Handler Division | +10 points |
| Master Division | +5 points |
| Expert Division | No handicap |
đ Divisions: They Follow the Human
Divisions aren't just based on the dogâtheyâre earned by the human and stick with them for life (or until a real-life miracle occurs). Once youâve earned it, you keep it, even if youâre throwing to a puppy or hobbling on crutches.
đ˘ Four Divisions:
- Junior Handler â 13 years or younger at season start.
- Handler Division â Yet to score at least Master level and anyone new to League.
- Master Handler â Scored Master-level points twice in a season.
- Expert Handler â Scored Expert-level points twice in a season.
đžÂ Before each season, handlers are placed in a Division based on the best past performance of any dog they've played with.
đ§ââď¸ Division Promotions: How to Level Up
To earn a promotion, a Team must hit the following raw score thresholds twice in a season (handicap not included):
đ In 60:/All Format Seasons:
- Master Promotion:Â 21+ weekly points twice
- Expert Promotion:Â 32+ weekly points twice
đ In 90:/5 Format Seasons:
- Master Promotion:Â 25+ weekly points twice
- Expert Promotion:Â 36+ weekly points twice
đŹÂ But don't stress! Even if you never hit those highs again, your Division title sticks. Your consistency and commitment matter.

Promotion isnât just about one great season â itâs about showing consistent skill and dedication on the field. Once youâve earned a promotion, youâve officially secured your place in that Division for life â in all future Seasons and Championships.
But now, every time you reach Master or Expert level performance again, your legacy grows. Each qualifying season adds a new Promotion Degree â a badge of honor that builds over time.
